Forest Meditation 5:00 - 6:30pm
Engage your senses, relax your body, and feel grounded. Forest Meditation is a unique experience that blends forest bathing, mindfulness, and a philosophy of interconnectedness. Prepare to feel relaxed and energized at the same time. All are welcome, no experience necessary. This walk is part of the Credit Valley Trail "First Steps along the Path" Celebration, one of many walks guests can choose to partake in. Please note that the tour route includes some stairs, steep inclines, narrow pathways and uneven ground. Space in all trail walks is also limited due to ensure a good experience for all. Join us for a special Culture Days kick-off event in Glen Williams Park. Co-hosted by Credit Valley Conservation, the Town of Halton Hills and Credit Valley Trail Partners, this event will open Culture Days, raise awareness of the future Credit Valley Trail and launch the ‘Discover the Hills’ Tour program. This event will bring together hiking and arts & culture enthusiasts in spectacular scenic surroundings. Featuring a wide variety of participatory cultural activities for all ages to enjoy, this is an event not to be missed! Refreshments available for cash purchase. Please bring your own mess kit (dishes and cutlery) if possible.
