Reiki Classes

Everyone is capable of doing Reiki. You don’t have to be particularly spiritual, or have any background training! That’s what makes Reiki so awesome! (well, one of the things that makes it so awesome).

My Reiki classes are designed to provide you with background information on what Reiki is, where it came from, how it works etc. For each level you also receive an attunement to the Reiki energy. This is what allows the Reiki energy to flow through you.

Imagine you have a power bar above your head. The process of attunement is like taking the Reiki cord and plugging it into your power bar. A Reiki attunement is permanent. So, once you’ve been attuned to the energy it will always be with you.

Level 1 Attunement
The level 1 Reiki attunement mostly benefits the physical body. The body is flooded with this new higher frequency energy that works towards healing and balancing it. Someone attuned to this level has the ability to heal themselves and others (people, plants, animals) on the physical plane.

Level 2 Attunement
The level 2 Reiki attunement is one of a higher energy vibration. This vibration facilitates healing on the emotional and mental levels. Someone attuned to this level has the ability to clear auras, to heal the past, present, and future and to heal/clear emotional and mental trauma as well as limiting belief systems. The Reiki symbols are introduced in this level and the student is taught how to send distant or absentee healings.

Level 3/Reiki Master Attunement
This attunement raises the initiate’s vibrational level and can be quite powerful and intense. Someone attuned to this level can ‘teach’ or attune others to Reiki.

Reiki for Children
Reiki is a great tool for a child to have. It empowers them and gives them the ability to heal themselves and to help their pets and family members.

Time Between Attunements
There are varying schools of thought as to how long to wait between attunements. Some Masters offer Level 1 and 2 during a weekend course, while others insist on waiting 3, 6 or 12 months between attunements. It is my opinion that you will know when you are ready and that you ought to trust yourself.

In order to heal and treat others you do not need the Reiki Master attunement, it is only necessary if you want to teach or attune others.
