Advisory Board

To ensure the successful creation, implementation, delivery and impact of this project an advisory board loosely modeling the UN Commission of Sustainable Developments model of Major Group participation is being formed.

This advisory board will include representation from the following major groups:

Business and Industry
Children and Youth
Indigenous Peoples
Health and Social Services
Scientific and Technological Community
Parents
Educators
Physical Activity and Sport
NGO’s (non governmental organizations)

Meaningful Paid Work for Youth

One way this project will empower youth is through meaningful paid work that emphasizes their creative, innovative and technological skills.

We will be hiring Canadian Youth between the ages of 18 and 31 to assist with:
Graphic Design
Animation
Video Production
Audio Production
Group Facilitation
Marketing

We will also be hiring Canadian Youth between the ages of 13 and 21 to participate in focus groups to evaluate the reach and effectiveness of the resources.

If you are a Canadian youth interested in any of the above possibilities please express your interest through email and we will contact you when we are in the hiring phase.

Schools and Social Services

If you are interested in:

A) Hosting one of the 30 workshops with 300 Canadian indigenous youth, youth in care, northern youth, and mainstream youth

B) Receiving one of the 300 resource kits for Canadian youth serving agencies and schools

Sponsorship and Funding

The Pepsi Refresh Grant is one time funding and the $100,000 will cover the key deliverables for the first year. Additional funding will be necessary to expand the project, broaden its reach, and ensure its longevity.
